Ever heard of Moborobo android/iOs PC suite? Well, its one of the free licence and coolest effective android and iOS PC Suite I have been using alongside other data management software tools. I have found Moborobo to be very functional and would recommend it to anyone. Enjoy the pleasure of easy data management and synchronization between android/iOS with your PC. Backup all your important data like SMS, Phone numbers, Videos, Mp3s, Pictures, wallpapers and Applications. You can also download and install countless number of apps from the mobomarket directly to your phone. It also allows you to play music, videos, send and receive SMS directly from your phone on the PC.
The Installation
The developer of this data management software did a pretty good job. The best part of it is that it costs you nothing unlike other paid or monetized ones. It can update itself so you can get latest updates with bug fixes and enjoy better experience all for free as at the time of writing this article! Below are detail/screenshots of Moborobo latest version 5.1.1.329.
Once you have successfully downloaded the “latest Moborobo PC Suite” (as at the time of writing this article), you will have to install it in simple steps. Once the installation is completed, you will be welcomed with this nice looking interface prompting you to “connect device”.
As soon as your device is connected to Moborobo android/iOs PC suite, windows will start loading drivers, but when something goes wrong you will be greeted with “failed to download drivers”, ops! never mind still, just retry again to reconnect and wait as it may take a while to load drivers which are the connecting rods between your device and the PC.
As you can see in the screenshots above, the device is successfully connected and in the next screenshot to it you will notice that there is an instruction to turn on USB Debugging, follow the instruction and click ok. at the top left corner there is a Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7105 displayed just after the moborobo software icon, and a command to “click above to boost your device. when you click, an app called Mr. clean will be automatically in stalled on your phone to clean up your device system so as to get rid of any unwanted junk files and the likes.
The Menu
Taking a close look at the image below, you will notice there are about four menu each performing different functions. Firstly, we can see that there is the “Device” menu. The device menu shows you at a glance detailed information about the connected device, these details includes the phone’s system storage, soft and hardware information of the phone. You will also notice that the image of the connected device is also displayed giving you a feel of what you are really working on! Additionally, there is a battery icon at the top right corner showing you the level of charge. While working on your phone your phone you could see it is equally charging just in case you have a blank screen and aren’t sure of your backup.
The next menu to the device menu is the “Media”, in this menu, you can play and manage all your favorite media files with unimaginable ease at your fingertips.
Following the media menu is the “Resource” menu this menu has two sub menu “Apps & Games” and a search bar to search content with ease. You will also notice that there are other six drop-down sub menu under which are all self explanatory.
The last one is the “ToolBox”, this is the exciting part of Moborobo android/iOs PC suite for me. Here, you have five other sub menu that offers you advantage of full screen view, instant backup and restore with speed, manage files on your device and a space cleaner to get ride of anything taking up space in your device.
Finally
At this point, I would say Moborobo Android/iOs PC Suite is a good software for now, though I had problem connecting it with Spreadtrum tablet device, but it did well on Qualcomms-Snapdragon, Samsung-Exynos and Huawei Kirin devices which is convincing to conclude that it is cool, moreover it is free, however, if you installed any Smart Android Phone management PC suite or app and noticed any negative effect, simply uninstall it from your PC or phone, file a report on your user experience to the developer and download a previous working version of same software as sometimes latest versions may come with some bugs which need fix or improvement.
